The lease for the student center has been signed and now renovations are in progress. Hopefully by the end of the month some students will be
enjoying this space.
The project is being generously funded by some groups
in Hong Kong connected with one of our
teammates. When the student center is completed it will include space for a music
room, small library, computer lab, prayer room, hang-out areas and
a great open space on the roof for bigger gatherings. Current projects at the
student center include some painting, replacing doors and lighting, buying equipment, fans, furniture, and computers.
Please continue to remember this project! Below are a couple
pictures I snapped at the center when Ryan and I walked around the building
with our teammates earlier this week.
Large covered rooftop
The guys doing their thing while the women talk about decorating ideas.
The bed will be taken out of this room and this room will probably be used as the computer lab.
One of the larger rooms. This room will most likely be used for group activities, times of song, or small workshops.
This room might be used for a small library.
So excited to see how this new work will progress!
