The group from Hong Kong has rented a space for students, renovated it extensively, had furniture made, and hired a local to live there and open it up from 8am-6pm every day. The student center is equipped with guitars, games, lounge areas, and will soon have computers and a small library for students to use. We have been blown away by the generosity of this group in Hong Kong to provide such a nice place for students.
This space gives us an opportunity to share more with students and we ask that you would continue to ask that the Father would help everyone to know how to use this best for his purposes. Melissa is already meeting one young lady there twice a week to study the word, and we trust that more opportunities like this will come.
Enjoy the pictures!

Board games at the student center. The first two weeks we have just been inviting students to come hang out and play games. We have been surveying them to find out when they have free time and what they would be interested in doing at the center. A lot of them have expressed a desire for classes or help with English and computer skills.
A group from Singapore donated guitars and they have become quite a hit! Here one of our friends is teaching his friends about how to play guitar.

I brought some of my stamping/card making supplies from the US to do with students.

Bringing supplies to cook a meal for a party at the student center.
We have some basic paint supplies at the student center. One student has been painting some wonderful pieces!
